Privacy

swedishgym is run by Tom Oliver Jacobson. Questions about your data: hej@swedishgym.se.

WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT

Your progress, saved words and answers are stored only in your browser on this device. Nothing is sent to us, unless you press “Send to T-O” at the end of a lesson: then your name, your answers and your words to learn are sent to T-O.

VISIT COUNTS

We count visits with GoatCounter. It uses no cookies and stores no personal data. It counts which pages are visited, and when a lesson is started or finished, so we can see what is useful.

WITH AN ACCOUNT

If you log in, we store your email address, your name if you add it, and your progress, answers, saved words and saved sentences. They are stored with Supabase in the EU, so they can follow you between your devices. Login links are sent by email through our email provider.

We use this only to run the site. We never sell or share it, and we don't send newsletters or marketing emails.

DELETE YOUR DATA

Go to My Swedish and press “Delete my account”. This deletes your account and everything stored with it. You can also email hej@swedishgym.se, and we'll delete it for you. You can also ask what we have stored about you, or ask us to correct it.
